Francis Belhumeur

I have been practising exclusively in commercial and civil litigation for more than 10 years and I have a diverse clientele including individuals, SMEs and large companies.

I accompany and represent my clients not only as part of the legal proceedings in which they are involved, notably in front of the common law tribunals, but I also assist them in the prevention and management of their disputes.

I defend the interest of my clients with rigour and creativity in order to ensure their satisfaction and to optimize the value of my services.

• I represent owners, work providers, general contractors and subcontractors from the deposit upon submission of bids to final payment after acceptance of the work.
• I represent purchasers and sellers implicated in situations of hidden defects affecting their property.
• I have represented companies, majority shareholders as well as minority shareholders implicated in litigation between shareholders.
• I have represented a client whose responsibility as manufacturer was sought following a claim.
• I have represented companies who were victims of significant fraud by their employees and agents which required extraordinary actions of the <em>Norwich</em> type and seizures before judgment.
