The founders, who have been in practice since 1991 and partners since 2001, bring extensive and complementary experience to deliver high-level legal services.

YOUR MISSION

Reporting to the Managing Partner, you play a key leadership and coordination role within the team. As a central point of reference, you contribute to the efficiency and smooth running of legal operations by supporting legal assistants, assisting lawyers with their specific needs, and promoting best practices across the team. Your role is essential in ensuring an exceptional level of service for our clients.

  • Prepare, draft, and finalize legal proceedings and correspondence.
  • Draft endorsements and handle the filing and service of legal documents.
  • Create court books, as well as lists of exhibits and authorities (digital and paper formats).
  • Open, scan, and organize both physical and electronic case files.
  • Manage tasks within the case management system (JurisÉvolution).
  • Track court deadlines, calendar entries, and important reminders.
  • Manage lawyers’ calendars and schedules.
  • Prepare and coordinate examinations for discovery (scheduling, conduct, undertakings, and pre-undertakings).
  • Communicate and follow up with bailiffs.
  • Coordinate with clients and stakeholders for document execution and signatures.
  • Liaise with court clerks and judicial offices.

YOUR PROFILE

Experience and knowledge

  • Hold a college diploma (DEC) in Legal Technology, Secretarial Studies, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant litigation experience in a law firm.
  • Excellent drafting, writing, and communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of JurisÉvolution is an asset.

YOUR MISSION

Reporting to the Managing Partner, your mission is to provide high-level legal advice, develop strategies tailored to the specific issues of each file, and ensure rigorous and effective client representation before the courts. Through your expertise, judgment, and commitment, you also contribute to maintaining the highest standards of excellence, fostering collaboration, and supporting the firm’s ongoing growth.

  • Collaborate in developing case strategies, supporting senior lawyers.
  • Draft legal opinions, demand letters, and various court proceedings.
  • Participate in preparing and conducting examinations, managing documentation, and tracking deadlines.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research to support client positions.
  • Negotiate certain agreements and make court representations, under supervision when required.
  • Respond to inquiries and support different practice areas on litigation-related matters.
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients to ensure diligent case follow-up.

YOUR PROFILE

Experience and knowledge

  • Hold a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.).
  • Be a member in good standing of the Barreau du Québec.
  • Have a minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in civil, commercial, and construction litigation.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of JurisÉvolution is an asset.
